Each year in late August on a Saturday night the Brisbane river become afestival of light and fireworks with the display being launched from the tops of buildings, bridges and floating barges. An amazing spectacle and topped off by an Airforce fly-over featuringa "Dump & Burn" to draw gasps from the huge crowds.

Come to the Hyatt Coolum each year in December to see Australia's and some of the worlds best tackle the tough Coolum layout for this coveted trophy. This year the field will include Jason Day, Bubba Watson, Darren Clarke, Greg Norman, Adam Scott and Geoff Ogilvy.
