Capricorn Coast - Tropical Queensland
The Capricorn Coast is so named because it lies accross the tropic of Capricorn.
Naturally in these latitudes you can expect balmy weather with very mild winters and hot summers. This alone makes it an ideal holiday destination but when you add in the wonderful coastline it just gets better.
The main towns of Rockhampton, MacKay, Yeppoon are all destinations in their own right. There is also the Keppell Island group which presents many great holiday options and fabulous recreational activities, such as fishing and diving on the Great Barrier Reef.
The Capricorn Coast should be high on your list of must visit places.
