Limestone Coast & The Coorong

The Limestone Coast is a beautiful part of South Australia and is yet another quality wine producing region. The coastal town of Robe is a treat to visit and endless dunes and coastal waterways make this a heavenly escape destination.

The Coorong National Park is a special place of spectacular beauty. High sand dune systems front the Southern Ocean and a long, narrow wetland complex connects to the lower Murray River and Lakes system.

It is internationally significant as a migratory wader and waterfowl refuge, is of spiritual significance to the local Ngarrindjeri people and has archaeological sites attesting to Aboriginal occupation and use of the area over many thousands of years. Ecologically focussed tours use the Park with specially designed water craft, cruising into the shallow lagoons.
