A short drive from Melbourne and a world away you’ll find Hedge Farm, a romantic escape or a fabulous wedding, accommodation & event venue waiting to greet you.

Hedge Farm is a 20-acre property located in Macedon Ranges, half way between Woodend and Kyneton in Central Victoria. It is around 60 minutes north-west from Melbourne.

The Farm is a truly unforgettable experience that begins from the moment you arrive.

With the historical charm of the 1800’s, Hedge Farm offers guests a relaxed and intimate experience for life’s special moments. If the walls of Hedge Farm could talk they’d share stories about life on the land, where Clydesdale horses worked the landscape, sheep dotted the paddocks and wheat grew golden for harvest.

Whether you’re celebrating a union of hearts, hosting a special event, or seeking a tranquil retreat, Hedge Farm promises you more than just a venue – it offers a journey through time, where the past and present intertwine to create lasting memories.

Hedge Farm operates as a function centre and accommodation. As well as hosting weddings and private functions we host music days and our bar is also open to the public.

Our two indoor spaces – The Barn and Rockhill Stables each have their own bar. Our focus is to showcase great local Macedon Ranges wines, beer and cider.

Accommodation at Hedge Farm.

Hedge Farm’s Merino Station Cottage is the perfect country retreat for two with queen bed, kitchenette, large bath, fireplaces in both bathroom and dining room, sweeping verandah and picturesque views.
