The West Coast of Tasmania is the wilderness capital.
The town of Strahan is idealy placed to base yourself in for many wonderful wilderness experiences that Tasmania is known for.
Of course you don’t have to explore the wilderness, you can find some cosy accommodation and sit in front of a fire with a good book or a fine view.
The choices are endless and whatever your preferences you will find it here on the west coast.
Stanley is a beautiful town on the north west coast of Tasmania.
It is littered with history and has some amazing relics left over from times past.
The scenery is spectacular and some of the sunsets are beyond your imagination.
You can take a chairlift ride to the top of “The Nut”, the bold headland that overlooks the town and the ocean.
Stanley is well worth the trip and is worthy of everyone’s itinerary.
