The Basalt Luxury Studios are a short 10-min drive from Orange – close enough to everything but a world away!
Our 75 acre cherry orchard is located 11kms from Orange CBD along the Pinnacle Road. From town the elevation increases rapidly from 860m to the highest point of our orchard – the Basalt block – which sits at 1100m above sea level.
While the views have always been incredible, the orchard has seen many changes. After decades of hard work and many setbacks, it is now home to 12,000 cherry trees which thrive in the rich basalt soils and the cool Orange climate.
Grafted into the highest point of our 75-acre cherry orchard, each of our architecturally designed studios have their own unique aspect with views over the entire region.
Each studio has been built and furnished with the same commitment to quality that we dedicate to growing our cherries. We are confident your stay at Basalt will be unlike anything you’ve ever experienced before.
