Tanja Lagoon Camp

Tanja Lagoon Camp is located on the edge of a wild coastal lagoon, surrounded by the spotted gum forests of Mimosa Rocks National Park on the Sapphire Coast of NSW.

Featuring 4 luxury self-contained safari tents, 2 exquisite eco-cabins ( one accessible) and a versatile meeting place for groups. We provide a beautiful place to immerse yourself in nature and thrive.

Our Tents:

Each tent rests on it’s own spacious deck.

Inside each tent is a beautiful and comfortable handcrafted Queen size bed positioned to enjoy the best of the view when the tent is fully opened. There is also a lounge area with a sofa and writing desk.

The spacious front decks have views of the lagoon, a comfortable dining setting and the sofa is easy to move outside to be enjoyed as a daybed.

Each tent also has its own fire drum with camp chairs and fire wood provided. Weather permitting, we encourage guests to enjoy the pleasures of a campfire.

All linen is provided, the use of our canoes and a delicious selection of local produce breakfast items for your first morning are included in the price.

Our Eco-cabins:

Each eco-cabin features a sustainably sourced, handcrafted queen bed positioned to enjoy the best of the view,, a single bed, comfortable couch, dining table and chairs.

In the cooler months a modern heater will be provided to keep you cosy inside.

The expansive bathroom is stocked with. high quality products from other environmental and socially conscious businesses such as ecostore soaps and who gives a crap toilet paper.

Our meeting Place:

We are opening our doors to the ‘meeting place’, ideal for group bookings. This accessible space features our reception area, guest laundry facilities, a commercial kitchen, spacious dining, lounge, and workshop area, a large outdoor deck, and additional amenities. Available for hire and exclusive camp use.

We can easily accommodate quiet gatherings for special interest groups like photography, bird-watching, nature and conservation, large families, corporate groups and wellness, artistic or Indigenious workshops.

Each accommodation is set up for 2 adults however we can accommodate up to 25 guests between 6 queen beds, 5 single beds and 12 swags for children. Camping and/or more guests can be arranged by negotiation. A min. of 2 nights is required.
