A beautiful stay in a beautiful location. Amble Wren is a cosy cottage, perfect for a solo or couple stay. The room was well appointed, with a lovely comfortable bed and excellent heating (which came in handy, as Hahndorf had an unseasonably cold snap while I was there!) The gardens and outlook are gorgeous, and all the birds coming down for their morning and afternoon feeds are just lovely. All the little extras provided in the cottage are what separates it from the rest, from the 4 varieties of tea and the fresh local milk, to the plentiful supply of towels and bathroom amenities. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property to others, and hope to be back again myself sometime soon.
